SYTYCD host Cat Deeley looked comfy fresh walking around NYC wearing a pair of Isabel Marant's lusty fringed boots — swoon. Completing her bohemian-meets-utilitarian getup are a pair of olive skinnies, a leather moto jacket, a gray scarf, and a Mulberry messenger bag. So casual, yet so cool.

When Net-A-Porter first announced it would be stocking Isabel Marant's Spring collection, we practically jumped for joy. That said, we're pleased to announce Isabel's funky French fashions have just hit NAP's virtual racks! We're not surprised items are already sold out, but there's still a lot to peruse. Step inside and you'll find subtle metallic jackets, lurex skirts, and even the famous hot pink Siena silk tunic dress Daria wore in Marant's Spring campaign. Boots are pricey, but to our elated surprise, the jewelry is kinda affordable. I'm going to jump on these ferosh feather earrings, stat!

Reese took advantage of the sunny skies in Beverly Hills, looking so sweet in a red floral dress by Isabel Marant. To keep cozy during her outing, the actress layered with a navy cardigan. Notice how she added her own "Reese touch" by pairing her ensemble with a sleek gray Chanel bag, gold aviators, and closed-toe wedges. Polished and perfect.

It's time to kick off our fun Best of 2009 polls — you ready? Which designer reigned supreme this year? Big decision, after all, they're the ones who inspire us to think creatively, look our best, and try out new trends. We narrowed it down to five based on their accolades (and our obsessions) throughout the year: Isabel Marant, Jason Wu, Marchesa, Balmain, and Stella McCartney.
(L-R: Isabel Marant, Jason Wu, Marchesa, Balmain, and Stella McCartney)
French designer Isabel Marant, swept our hearts with her rocker romantic aesthetic and flirty frocks. Fashion darling, Jason Wu, made a major presence this year with his chic, political-worthy frocks. Marchesa's Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, continued to stun us with their outstanding red-carpet gowns. Balmain's Christophe Decarnin brought badass back — Balmania!!! — with his endless supply of bedazzled body-con dresses and acid wash jeans. And Stella, who can deny the designer's stellar eye for tailored everyday pieces and animal-friendly stance? Don't forget to join our Best of '09 group to share your '09 favorites — the news, trends, models, designers, celebrities, and musings that rocked your world this year. Vote happy? Gush, double gush. I can't get enough of Isabel Marant's Fall '09 show. Each and every single look, down to the graduated cone footwear, is amazing. Speaking of footwear, how cool are the stud buckle boots Lily Donaldson is wearing? They're slightly trendy, yes, but subtle enough to wear for a while. Unfortunately, like every other Marant piece, they're out of my price range. Luckily, Jeffrey Campbell has come out with an identical pair without the killer price tag.

My runway review is up! What are your favorite looks?
Isabel Marant — a Fab obsession — opted for more detail, more color, and more leg for Spring. Per usual, I adore everything, minus the camouflage boots. Marant delivered an eclectic chic mix of frilly skirts and dresses, sumptuous tweed, cool prints, girlie ruffles, city shorts, hot hot pink, and sweet turquoise. Railroad denim is redone: teeny short shorts, patchwork miniskirts, and cutoff jeans. Khaki jackets and vests are far from preppy in silky fabrics and utilitarian styles.Pants are either laid-back loose or sexy tight, shown in silky black, Carmen Kass multicolored stripes, hot pink, and cool gray; this pictured pair of laced up black pants are a new classic, totally unique. The mix is emphasized by diverse details: feathered earrings, silver chain necklaces, dark metal bracelets, a mix of belts, and a knockout fringed and studded boot. Are you obsessed with Isabel, too? After seeing this red and black tweed mini on Isabel Marant's Fall runway, I knew I had to have it. However, I can't afford the hefty price tag. Lucky for me, I found this awesome Tweed Mini ($79), from Rachel Roy's collection for Macy's. Then, I sauntered over to J.Crew and nabbed this gorgeous gray Jaspe Sweatshirt ($49). A Marant look without the Marant price — yay!
I admit, I'm a bit disappointed with Isabel Marant's Fall campaign. For some reason, the designer swapped out the awesome Daria Werbowy for the newly married Milla Jovovich. The ad, shot by Inez and Vinoodh, pictures Milla — in the same exact pose — wearing Marant's delectable fur chubbies, velvet shorts, soft tees, tiered skirts, and luscious studded booties. Remember when Sienna Miller donned them during her G.I. Joe circuit? I love the clothes, but the ad doesn't do them justice. Call me crazy but there was something about Daria that embodied Marant's fun fashion, and Milla just leaves me kinda bored. Thoughts?
